The match began with France attempting to assert control. In the 12th minute, Désiré Doué nearly opened the scoring after penetrating the penalty area, dribbling past Belgium's defense, and unleashing a powerful shot that struck the crossbar.

In the 18th minute, Belgian players exchanged passes in midfield, trying to circulate the ball and build attacks from the back.

France resumed their pressure, and in the 24th minute, a cross from the right reached Camavinga after being parried by the Belgian goalkeeper. The French player shot, but the defense intervened just in time to clear it skillfully.

In the 36th minute, Belgium's Mika Godts attempted to catch the French goalkeeper off guard with a shot from inside the box, but it went wide of the goal.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, as both sides failed to capitalize on their opportunities.

Second Half Events

Early in the second half, at the 50-minute mark, a French player fell inside the penalty area amid appeals for a penalty, but the referee signaled for play to continue.

In the 56th minute, Désiré Doué unleashed a powerful shot from outside the box, which the Belgian goalkeeper saved brilliantly. The rebound fell to Esteban Lepaul, who shot, but the ball sailed just wide of the left post.

Doué continued his efforts, firing another shot from inside the box in the 62nd minute, but it was an easy save for the Belgian goalkeeper.

Belgium nearly snatched the lead in the 74th minute when Dodi Lukebakio broke free completely, entered the penalty area, and shot, but the French goalkeeper produced a brilliant save to deny Belgium a certain goal.

Just as the match seemed headed for a draw, Michael Olise scored France's first goal in the 88th minute following a splendid attack he initiated himself. He sprinted forward, dribbled past a Belgian defender, and fired a shot from the edge of the box into the net to the goalkeeper's right.

The referee blew the final whistle, confirming France's 1-0 victory over Belgium thanks to Olise's late winner scored just minutes before the end of the match.
