Ahmed Fatouh, the Egyptian national team's left-back, was substituted during the second half of the match against South Sudan.

Fatouh collapsed at the start of the second half, clutching his quadriceps muscle to request a substitution.
Hossam Hassan, Egypt's head coach, brought on Karim Hafez in place of Fatouh, as well as Ibrahim Adel in place of Haitham Hassan in the 50th minute.
Fatouh played his 44th international match for Egypt against South Sudan.
The first half ended with Egypt leading by one goal scored by Mostafa Abd El-Raouf Ziko in the 36th minute.
At the start of the second half, Marmoush successfully scored the second goal in the 49th minute, after which Fatouh complained of an injury.
Egypt drew 0-0 with Angola in the first round at Cairo Stadium.
South Sudan lost their first-round match against Malawi by two goals to one.
Egypt will travel back to Cairo tomorrow, Wednesday, in preparation for a friendly match against South Africa on October 4.
