Hany Abou Reida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, expressed his gratitude to Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab Club, for hosting the training sessions of the South African national team.
The South African national team is preparing to face Eritrea in the African qualifiers, followed by a friendly match against Egypt.
The South African delegation was received by Talaat Moharram, Director of Football at Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab Club, and Samy Kamisan, the team's head coach, who both ensured a warm welcome for the delegation.
Kamisan also presented a club shield and jersey to Pitso Mosimane, head coach of the South African national team, reflecting the relationship that has united them since their time working together at Al-Ahly Club.
It is worth noting that the Egyptian national team will face South Africa in a friendly match next Sunday at Cairo International Stadium.
The Egyptian national team will play against South Sudan in the second round of the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations.
In the first round of the qualifiers, the Egyptian national team drew 0-0 with Angola at Cairo Stadium.
