First comment from Haaland after leading Norway to eliminate Brazil

Norwegian Erling Haaland, striker of the Norwegian national team, expressed his immense happiness at the victory over Brazil in the 2026 World Cup.

Haaland led the "Vikings" squad to eliminate the "Samba dancers" from the round of 16 of the World Cup tournament, through a (2-1) victory.

Haaland said during his statements to the media after the match ended: "I have reached the peak of my performance several times during this tournament, but every time I achieve a new peak".

He added: "If I get one or two chances, I often score a goal, I don't know exactly what I do, this is my nature, it's all about focus, and when the chance comes, I know exactly what to do".

Erling Haaland scored the opening goal for the Norwegian national team, in the 80th minute, with a header to the left of Alisson Becker, the Samba goalkeeper, following a cross from the left side.

Haaland returned and added his second goal and Norway's second, in the 89th minute, with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, to the left of the Samba goalkeeper.

Substitute Neymar da Silva reduced the deficit for the Samba dancers, in the 100th minute, from a penalty kick, as he shot to the left of the Norwegian goalkeeper.

The Norwegian national team awaits in the quarterfinals the winner of the anticipated match between Mexico and England, awaiting to continue its historic run in the tournament.
