Mohamed El-Shenawy, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team, believes that the Pharaohs have a chance to go far in football after what the team presented at the World Cup.
El-Shenawy said during President Sisi's invitation to the team for lunch: "The future is better, and I tell the players you must believe in yourselves; our team includes Mohamed Salah, Omar Marmoush, Hamza Abdel Karim, and all the players have a chance to go far in football".
He added, "I thank His Excellency the President for the warm reception of the Egyptian national team, and our goal is to be present in a distinguished manner in every World Cup".
President Sisi received the Egyptian national team this morning at the presidential palace in Alamein to honor the Pharaohs after their return from the World Cup.
President Sisi also awarded all members of the Egyptian national team delegation the Order of Sports of the First Class in honor of them.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi was also keen to extend an invitation to the team to have lunch with him in honor of what they presented at the World Cup.
