The draw for the African Nations Cup futsal tournament resulted in the Egyptian national team being placed in the second group of the competition scheduled to be held in Morocco next October.
Morocco is hosting the African Nations futsal competitions during the period from 12 to 21 October of the current year to determine the champion of the current edition of the tournament.

The Egyptian futsal national team found itself in the second group of the African Nations Cup tournament alongside Angola, Mozambique and Tanzania as it will compete to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
The first group of the African Nations futsal included Morocco (the host country of the tournament), Libya, Zambia in addition to Algeria.
The Egyptian national team begins its journey in the African Nations futsal with a match against Tanzania before facing Mozambique and then concluding its participation in the group stage against Angola.
Statements by the coach of the Egyptian futsal national team
Nader Rashad, the technical director of the Egyptian futsal national team, commented on the draw saying: "The African Nations Cup draw resulted in a balanced group".
He added: "The draw includes the Angolan national team, runner-up of the previous edition of the tournament, along with Mozambique and Tanzania, and we aim to present distinguished levels and results during the tournament competitions and qualify for the second round by topping the group".
He concluded: "The technical staff and players will do their utmost to achieve the team's goals in the tournament".
