The list of African national teams by market value saw the absence of the Egyptian team from the top 10, according to the latest update reported by the global website "Transfer Market".
The market value of the Egyptian national team is estimated at approximately 95 million euros, with the decline occurring especially after Mohamed Salah's removal from the squad during the current international break.
Mohamed Salah was dropped from the national team squad following his participation in the match against Angola in the qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, missing the game against South Sudan due to the match being played on a tartan pitch, according to an official statement from the Football Association.
Salah also continues to miss the friendly match against South Africa, scheduled for tomorrow evening (Sunday), which will be held at Cairo Stadium.
According to the latest update from the global website "Transfer Market", Mohamed Salah's value is estimated at 17 million euros.
The "Pharaohs" team misses out on the top 10 by a margin of only one million euro, as Burkina Faso ranks tenth with a financial value estimated at 96 million euros.
In contrast, the Moroccan national team leads the list of highest-valued teams, with a value exceeding 580 million euros, particularly as the "Atlas Lions" possess a group of stars, most notably Achraf Hakimi.
Another Arab team present in the list is the Algerian national team, valued at approximately 262 million euros, making it the second Arab team on the list.
The "Desert Warriors" team boasts an abundance of stars, including Ibrahim Maza, whose market value as a professional player at Bayer Leverkusen is estimated at 50 million euros.
