Neymar, the star of Santos FC, encountered an issue during his team's match against Corinthians early this morning, played as part of the Brazilian Championship.

Neymar led Santos to a 1-0 victory over Corinthians after the 34-year-old took a free kick that hit the post and rebounded to his teammate Cristian Oliveira, who put the ball in the net to score Santos' only goal.

However, Neymar became involved in a problem after the end of the match. According to the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," the former Brazilian international went to give his shirt to a young boy among the Corinthians fans, who cried profusely upon receiving it.

It was added that this child was subjected to significant abuse by the Corinthians fans present at the stadium, and insults were directed at the child's family, which Neymar rejected.

These anti-child chants led to him leaving the stadium immediately with his family, escorted by the police.

Neymar stated after the end of the match: "This child was supporting Corinthians, and regardless of the team he supports, he has the right to show his love for any player, as that is part of football. The banner he raised during the match said: 'I am one of the biggest Corinthians fans, but I am also one of your fans. I promised this child and I kept my promise'."

Neymar is currently focusing on his career with Santos, having retired from international football with the Brazilian national team after the Selecao's elimination from the Round of 16 of the World Cup.
