The Spanish Football League has filed an official complaint against Barcelona due to incidents that occurred during Thursday's match against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga at Camp Nou.
Barcelona secured a 2-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in a postponed match from the first round of the Spanish League.
Police assaulted a Barcelona fan before the Elche match in the second round of La Liga because he was carrying a Catalan independence flag, sparking intense outrage.
During yesterday's match against Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona fans, particularly those in the southern stand, chanted slogans hostile toward Spain and the national team.

The Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that the Spanish Football League included five incidents in its report on the Barcelona vs. Athletic Bilbao match and referred them to the Competition Committee and the Anti-Violence Committee of the Spanish Federation, considering the events as behavior warranting punishment.
The first incident occurred two minutes before kickoff when fans in the southern stand chanted "Down with Spain, down with the national team" for approximately 10 seconds; the same chant was heard again in the 19th minute for a similar duration.
In the 56th minute, chants of "Idiot, idiot" were heard for 10 seconds from the same stand, while hostile chants against the National Police occurred in the 92nd minute, followed by others directed at Atlético Madrid at the end of the match.
It was noted that the matter now rests with the Competition Committee and the Anti-Violence Committee to evaluate the Spanish Football League's complaint and determine whether any penalties should be imposed as a result of these incidents.
