Manchester City Club announced moments ago that it has secured a new signing during the summer transfer window to strengthen its squad for competing in all tournaments this season.
In an official statement released shortly, Manchester City confirmed that it reached an agreement with Palmeiras Club to sign the young winger Allan Elias on a long-term contract.
Allan signed a five-year contract with Manchester City, extending until the end of June 2031.
Commenting on his move to Manchester City, Allan said in statements to the club's official website: "It is unbelievable for me; Manchester City is one of the most attractive clubs for players worldwide, considering all the titles it has won over the past 15 years. Sitting here today and saying I have joined them is the happiest moment of my life."
He added: "I hold great love for Palmeiras and will always cherish them, but the decision to join Manchester City was not difficult. I want to become the best player, and the discussions I've had so far with Manchester City officials have convinced me that there is no better place to achieve my ambitions than this club."

He further stated: "I promise Manchester City fans that I will do my utmost to make the most of this opportunity granted to me."
He continued: "Now begins the hard work. I will give my all in training and deliver my best to the coach to prove I deserve a starting spot. I want to help this club win titles; this is a dream for me."
Hugo Viana, Manchester City's sporting director, commented on signing Elias: "Allan is an extremely promising player, and we believe he represents a significant addition to the team. Throughout his short career so far, he has shown he will give everything to reach his peak potential. His joining Manchester City and taking on this challenge is clear proof of that."
He concluded: "We followed his development in Brazil, witnessed him shine in crucial moments, and observed his hard work for the team with high sportsmanship. We are delighted by his arrival and look forward to seeing him grow with Manchester City."
Allan's arrival compensates for Savinho's departure from Manchester City, who joined Tottenham Hotspur in a record-breaking deal exceeding £80 million, alongside Omar Marmoush, who left on loan from Manchester City to also sign with Tottenham, with the London club holding an option to buy permanently for £60 million including add-ons.
