Journalistic reports revealed that the Turkish club Trabzonspor reached an agreement with the former Liverpool player and teammate of Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah to sign him during the ongoing summer transfer window.
The Trabzonspor club management succeeded in concluding the signing of Egyptian Mohamed Salah, the former Liverpool legend, after all reports had pointed to Besiktas club nearing a deal with him.

Salah is preparing for his first appearance with the Trabzonspor team, under coach Fatih Tekke, in their opening Turkish League match against Kasimpasa as part of the new 2026/2027 season.
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Trabzonspor club is close to finalizing a deal for Darwin Nunez, the Al-Hilal player.
He wrote on his official “X” account that Trabzonspor has reached a final agreement with Darwin Nunez.

He confirmed that negotiations between the Turkish club and Saudi Al-Hilal are ongoing to complete Nunez’s transfer.
Previous reports indicated that Mohamed Salah spoke with Nunez as his former Liverpool teammate and gave a positive view on his move to Trabzonspor.
