Reports have revealed that Chelsea have taken the first official step towards the departure of Argentine player Enzo Fernández to Manchester City on the final day of the 2026 summer transfer window.

Sky Sports revealed that Manchester City have finalized the deal to sign Enzo Fernández with a financial offer exceeding £120 million.
In this context, trusted Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea have submitted an official offer to sign Monaco player Lamine Camara.
He stated that the young midfielder is the first-choice replacement for Enzo Fernández should he leave, with the offer valued at €45 million.
He noted that Monaco considers the offer far too low, but negotiations are still ongoing, while Camara has expressed a strong desire to move to Chelsea.
