The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced the opening of the candidacy for hosting the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments for the 2028, 2032, and 2036 editions.

Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda will host the upcoming edition of the Africa Cup of Nations 2027.

The African Union indicated that the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, under the slogan "Pamoja," will be jointly organized by Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda from June 19 to July 17, 2027.

CAF clarified that it will work on organizing a tournament for the first men's national teams every year, except in the years when the World Cup finals are held.

The African Union also revealed that it has prepared the regulatory framework for the hosting files of the 2028, 2032, and 2036 editions in collaboration with independent technical, financial, and legal advisors, aiming to ensure a transparent, credible, and fair evaluation and selection process for the host countries, in line with the best global practices.

CAF concluded in a statement on its official website by confirming that it will announce more details related to the African Union's national team competitions in the coming period.
