Pressure continues on Infantino and FIFA after the European, Asian and North American federations rejected the decision to establish a foundation to sell shares in the World Cup to investors.
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said during his visit to the city of Sheffield in remarks reported by the English "Sky News" network: "This is a disgraceful proposal".
He added, "Just the idea of establishing a company for the World Cup shows, in my opinion, that Infantino is not the right man to lead FIFA".
The European Union had previously announced that its national teams would boycott FIFA competitions "as long as these proposals remain in place". (See details)
