The Athletic reported that Inter renewed its efforts to sign Jones for 35 million euros.
Jones has one year left on his contract with Liverpool, which expires in the summer of 2027.
The Athletic explained that Liverpool officials prefer to lose Jones for free in 2027 rather than agree to his departure for a price below his estimated value.
The 25-year-old Jones has not played for any club other than Liverpool since his promotion to the first team in 2020.

Liverpool is conducting a training camp in the United States in preparation for the start of the 2026-27 season.
