Spanish press reports have revealed new developments regarding Ajax Amsterdam's interest in signing Barcelona goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen to guard the team's goal next season.
Reports from the newspaper "Mundo Deportivo" confirmed that Marc ter Stegen has ended his period with Barcelona to become a new player in the ranks of Ajax Amsterdam.
The German goalkeeper left Barcelona's training camp in England early in the afternoon to board a plane heading to the Dutch capital Amsterdam.
Stegen traveled to complete his transfer deal on loan to Ajax until next June 30, after bidding farewell to his former teammates and the technical staff led by Hans Flick.

Stegen will leave to work under the leadership of his new coach Michel who left Girona to lead Ajax Amsterdam, and he was one of the most prominent supporters for regaining his former goalkeeper.
Barcelona had reached an agreement with Ajax to obtain the services of ter Stegen on loan weeks ago, however the deal was halted due to tax issues.
Stegen hopes to regain his usual level after his transfer to Ajax, as he enters this experience after his absence from the fields due to injuries for two years.
Ajax is preparing to face the return leg of the second round of the UEFA Europa Conference League next Thursday after winning 4-1 away, and the Dutch club will be able to register its new German goalkeeper.
