Carlo Ancelotti, the technical director of the Brazilian national team, commented on his team's exit from the 2026 World Cup.

Ancelotti explains the reason for the exit from the World Cup
Ancelotti said in statements via the "ESPN" network: "I think we lost the World Cup during the water break period against Norway, why? Because the team was controlling the course of the match until that moment".
He added: "It is also true that Norway possessed the ball a lot in their half of the field, and played in the same style against England, they controlled the match, and they could have won".
He continued: "Perhaps my mistake here was that I thought the team had lost control of the match while it was not the case".
The Brazilian coach concluded: "I made some changes to the lineup, then we faced the problem of Erling Haaland's goal".
