German Marc-André ter Stegen left Barcelona's training camp in England, in preparation for completing his transfer to Ajax Amsterdam on loan until the end of the season.

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, the German goalkeeper headed to the Dutch capital Amsterdam, after bidding farewell to his teammates and the technical staff, in order to complete the official transfer procedures.
The report explained that Barcelona and Ajax had reached an agreement several weeks ago, but the deal was delayed due to a dispute related to the tax burden in the Netherlands, before the two parties reached a final formula that resolved the crisis.
Ter Stegen will join Ajax at the request of coach Michel, the former technical director of Girona, who played a major role in convincing the club to sign the German goalkeeper.
The 34-year-old hopes to regain his form, after a difficult period that saw him sidelined for long periods due to injuries.
Ter Stegen is expected to be available to participate with Ajax in the upcoming rounds of the qualifiers for the UEFA Europa Conference League, as the player registration deadline ends on Friday, following the team's match against Vojvodina in the second leg of the second round, after winning 4-1 in the first leg.
