Ahmed Shoubir revealed that there is a state of great anger within Al Ahly Club due to the recent uproar over refereeing decisions.
Shoubir said, in a radio interview on "On Sport": "Al Ahly is in a state of frustration, anger, and great distress over what has been said."
He added: "Regarding Karim Hassan Shatata, Captain Hassan Shatata holds a very special place in the hearts of Al Ahly, so I believe Al Ahly did not speak out on this matter."
He continued: "Karim is one of the people I love and trust very much, and he is (not a malicious broadcaster), but he cannot reveal his source. Sources can sometimes be inaccurate news."

He clarified: "Al Ahly is angry because it feels it has started to get its due this season, but it has been attacked very violently. After that, Al Ahly will object to matters concerning Zamalek, Zamalek will object to matters concerning Pyramids, and we will start seeing statements."
Regarding contract renewals at Al Ahly, he said: "There is no new development in the renewal file, and Al Ahly is focusing on its next match because it is important and they want to win."
He added: "What I know is that meetings took place between Captain Wael Gomaa, the administrative staff, the technical staff, and the players, stating that in the next 5 matches, we want 15 points."
He continued: "There may be changes in positions on the field, possibly after the Smouha match. The coach does not want to deprive any player of their opportunity."
