Al-Ahly's doctor clarifies the developments in the conditions of Afsha and Mohamed Abdullah ahead of the Smouha match.

Dr. Ahmed Gaballah, the physician of Al-Ahly's first football team, revealed on Monday evening the latest updates on the conditions of Mohamed Magdy Afsha and Mohamed Abdullah, two team players, ahead of their upcoming match against Smouha scheduled for next Thursday.

Afsha and Mohamed Abdullah joined the team's collective training sessions this evening at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Gezira, in preparation for the Smouha match, which will bring both teams together in the third round of the Premier League championship.

Gaballah clarified that Afsha has recovered from adductor muscle pain, while Abdullah had been suffering from ankle pain, confirming both players' readiness before participating in the group training session.

Al-Ahly team resumed its training sessions, with players returning to practice after taking a rest day on Sunday, according to the program set by the technical staff led by Hussein Amotta, in preparation for the Smouha match.

The players performed various physical training exercises before moving on to implement tactical aspects, which were concluded by Hussein Amotta, the head coach, by conducting an intense football scrimmage involving everyone.

On the sidelines of the training session, Karim El-Deebis continued his physiotherapy and rehabilitation exercises to recover from an injury, having complained of a hamstring strain.

Al-Ahly team currently holds second place in the Egyptian Premier League standings with 6 points, while Smouha team ranks fifteenth with one point.
