The 2026 World Cup witnessed great brilliance from the goalkeepers, which controlled the path of many national teams in the Mundial, which has reached its final station.

After 102 matches have been played in the World Cup so far, only two matches remain in the 2026 World Cup, the first between France and England to determine the third and fourth places, and the second will be between Argentina and Spain in the final.

FIFA issued a system for the first time in the history of World Cup tournaments to classify players individually, relying on the data collected during the matches.

This classification provides an objective, data-based view of players' performance, where goalkeepers' performance is evaluated in particular through defending their goal and ball possession.

Despite Mustafa Shobier dropping 3 places since Egypt's exit from the 2026 World Cup, he maintained his presence in the list of the top 10 goalkeepers, currently occupying the seventh position.

This list includes only two goalkeepers still competing in the tournament: the first is Jordan Pickford, England's goalkeeper, and the second is Unai Simon, Spain's national team goalkeeper. (See the pictures)

Despite Portugal's early exit from the 2026 World Cup, its goalkeeper Diogo Costa still retains the top spot among all goalkeepers, and the list also features the goalkeepers of Norway, Paraguay, and Colombia.

The United States of America is hosting the 2026 World Cup along with Mexico and Canada, with the participation of 48 teams for the first time in the history of the tournament, during the period from June 11 to July 19 of this year.
