A report revealed the winning percentage of teams in the World Cup, as the round of 16 stage of the tournament began, resulting in two teams advancing to the quarter-finals.
The Moroccan team succeeded in defeating Canada with a clean three-goal victory, while the French team managed to overcome Paraguay, setting the first match in the World Cup quarter-finals.
The Moroccan team will meet its French counterpart on Thursday, the ninth of July, at 11 PM Cairo time, as part of the World Cup quarter-final competitions.

The "ge.globo" website confirmed that the French team's odds of winning the World Cup have risen to 26.6%, surpassing Argentina, whose chances of winning the title settled at 17.6%, in second place.
This came after the French team defeated Paraguay and got closer to the final match, as they will face Morocco in the World Cup quarter-finals, after the Atlas Lions defeated Canada.
The Egyptian team appears on the list of candidates to win the World Cup, but it is the least likely according to the Brazilian report, with a rate of 1.1%, due to the Pharaohs' path to the title, which begins with a clash against Argentina in the round of 16 of the World Cup.

The "ge.globo" website explains that economist Bruno Imaizumi analyzes each of the qualified teams, and the percentage changes after each round and stage, based on the teams' performance.
He explained, saying: "This is a snapshot of the current situation before the first match begins, summarizing the estimated probability of reaching each stage of the tournament based on the current model criteria."
He added: "It is not a confirmed fact or a fixed prediction, but merely a probability that changes as results emerge."
Data is analyzed by looking at goal expectations, expected goals from shots, FIFA rankings, as well as team quality and market value from the "Transfermarkt" website specialized in the transfer market, along with the history of participation in World Cup tournaments.
