Vincenzo Italiano, the technical director of the first football team at Turkish club Beşiktaş, revealed the club's position on signing Egyptian international star Mohamed Salah during the current summer transfer window.
Many Turkish press reports over the past few days have discussed Mohamed Salah's imminent move to Turkish Beşiktaş following his departure from Liverpool last June.
Beşiktaş fans had chanted Mohamed Salah's name, urging the board to sign Egypt's national team captain during the presentation of Belgian player Trossard.

Mohamed Salah left Liverpool after the end of last season due to a dispute with Dutch coach Arne Slot, who also departed the club.
The deal is currently facing rejection from Beşiktaş's board over the financial demands of Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah's agent, and nothing has yet been decided regarding the Egyptian king's future.
Beşiktaş's Turkish coach said in press statements: "Mohamed Salah joining? Everything is on hold now, at least for the time being, but we have a great captain in Orkun Kökçü".
