Hossam Hassan, the technical director of the Egyptian national team, directed a strong message in defense of the Palestinian people, during the press conference preceding the match against Argentina, which will be held as part of the World Cup competitions.

Hossam Hassan spoke during his appearance with heartfelt words expressing the principles that the coach of the Egyptian national team adheres to, and revealing them at the press conference was not the first time.
Hossam Hassan had previously appeared in a television interview while he was a player for Zamalek, and touched on the Palestinian cause and his efforts to donate for it.
Hossam Hassan said in the television interview, when asked what he would do if he received the cash prize after appearing on the program: "I will donate a financial contribution to children with cancer in Egypt".
He added: "And there are two other parties, and I hope the amount will help support them, the brothers in Palestine and helping the children in Afghanistan due to the past circumstances".
That previous incident confirms that the coach of the Egyptian national team adheres to several principles that he did not ignore when circumstances allowed him to do so, but rather preserved them and re-expressed his stance toward them whenever the opportunity arose.

One of the attendees at the press conference directed a question to coach Hossam Hassan regarding his carrying of the Palestinian flag after the match against Australia, and the technical director of the Egyptian national team answered while holding back his tears as he expressed Gaza's suffering from Zionist brutality.
Hossam Hassan, coach of the Egyptian national team, replied saying: "Raising the Palestinian flag? Every person has feelings, and if any individual in the world does not feel for the Palestinian people, he does not deserve to be a human being, whether Arab, European, or American".
He added: "If I do not feel what is happening to the Palestinian people, then I do not deserve to live, and if anyone does not feel what is happening, then he does not deserve to be a human being. Decision-makers must put their children on the street for one day to feel the suffering of facing the sun, rain, and cold".

It addressed the Egyptian coach's statements before commenting: "The laws of the game and the tournament regulations affiliated with FIFA prohibit political slogans on equipment, but Reuters was not immediately able to identify a rule preventing coaches from expressing their political opinions in press conferences".
