Foot Mercato indicated that Trabzonspor has come close to reaching an agreement with Salah after negotiations for his transfer to Besiktas failed.
Hassan told FilGoal.com: "I feel that Mohamed Salah has a strong desire to join the Turkish league, and in fact it is a physically violent and strong league, very competitive, and not as easy as some imagine."
He continued, "The best step for Salah? In the beginning, Salah himself is the most aware of his situation and desire and he is the one who determines his fate, but if he asks for my personal opinion on the comparison between joining Besiktas or Trabzon, I would advise him to join Besiktas even if the financial offer is lower than Trabzon's, because Besiktas is a club with a large fan base and always competes for titles, which in my personal opinion suits Salah."
He added, "I learned that Besiktas had reached an agreement to sign Salah with welcome and intervention from businessmen to complete this record deal, to the point that his presentation and everything had been arranged, but matters were disrupted due to demands from his agent Rami Abbas regarding his commission, which delayed the official announcement at the time."
Salah left Liverpool at the end of last season after 9 years with the team.
Trabzon will participate in the Europa League during the next season after finishing the league in third place last season.
