The Saudi sports newspaper clarified that the Algerian Yassin Brahimi, the Qatari Al-Gharafa midfielder, signed the contracts for his joining Saudi Abha.

Abha returned to the Saudi Premier League after 3 seasons in the second division league.
The report mentioned that the former Algerian international signed a contract linking him to the club for one season.
The former Algerian international had previously played professionally for French Stade Rennes in the 2009-2013 season, before being loaned to Clermont, and in the 2012 season he moved to the Spanish club Granada, and played professionally for the Portuguese club Porto from 2014-2019.
Then he moved to the Qatari league with Al-Rayyan for four seasons, and in 2022 he signed with Al-Gharafa club, before moving to the Saudi league with Abha.
The report added that the club's management concluded a professional contract with Safwan Al-Juhani, the left-back, 23 years old, coming from Al-Ta'ee club.
Al-Juhani progressed through the youth categories at Al-Taawoun club, before undergoing a professional experience with the Croatian club Jadran Poreč in 2022, and in the following season he returned to Saudi Arabia, and played with Al-Ta'ee before moving to Abha.
