Neymar criticized the pitch at Vila Belmiro, the home ground of Santos FC, following a goalless draw against Palmeiras in the second leg of the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals.

Santos drew with Palmeiras and were eliminated from the Copa do Brasil in the quarter-finals after losing the first leg 3-0.
Neymar wrote on his Instagram account: "I wanted to congratulate the person in charge of the Vila Belmiro pitch. Yesterday, it was the worst pitch the stadium has ever seen, full of holes due to the soil being broken up a day before the match."
He added, "Unbelievable! In addition to playing against the opponent, we were playing against the pitch itself. On top of that, we had to put in extra effort to accelerate and stop while running because the pitch was uneven; no wonder three players were injured in the first half. Congratulations, as you know. Great job, really."
Neymar left the field at halftime and was replaced by Ronny.
Neymar felt discomfort in his right hamstring, which led to his substitution.
