The Danish national team suffered a heavy defeat against Portugal, losing 4-2 in the third round of the UEFA Nations League.
Although the match result was in favor of the host team, Rasmus Højlund became one of the most interesting talking points after imitating Cristiano Ronaldo's famous celebration following his goal.
Højlund performed Ronaldo's signature "SIU" shout after scoring the second goal in the 53rd minute of the second half.

Højlund did not hesitate to explain the reason for this celebration and sent a direct message regarding the current situation, as reported by the global outlet "Tribuna": "I just wanted to send a strong message to the Portuguese national team that if they don't give Cristiano Ronaldo his due respect, there are many people around the world who were inspired by him and still show him admiration and appreciation."
Portugal's point total rose to nine after the win in three matches, while Denmark sits in second place with three points.
