Despite Portugal's 4-2 victory over Denmark in the UEFA Nations League, Portuguese fans woke up to new repercussions of the dispute between Cristiano Ronaldo and Jorge Jesus.
According to the Portuguese newspaper "A Bola," the echoes of the conflict between Ronaldo and Jesus extended to the streets of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, where three large billboards appeared in prominent locations in the Greater São Paulo area.
The crisis involving Cristiano Ronaldo and the Portuguese national team continues to spark division and resentment, with messages combining open expressions of gratitude for the Al-Nassr striker and direct attacks on Jesus's actions.

These billboards were placed near Humberto Delgado Airport, another near the Estádio da Luz (Light Stadium), and a third next to the Cidade do Futebol complex in the Cacilhas area, which is considered the headquarters of the Portuguese Football Federation.
Oeiras municipal authorities removed one of the signs placed next to the federation complex amid crowds and media gatherings, but it did not last long, justifying this by stating that the necessary permits had not been obtained.
The content of the signs spread rapidly across social media despite their quick removal, and the written text distinguishes between honoring Ronaldo's career and protesting against Jesus either tactically or personally.
The signs bore phrases such as: "Thank you Cristiano Ronaldo for everything you have given to Portugal, thank you Captain," and another: "Jesus failed, lacking sensitivity in handling the Cristiano Ronaldo card and mistreating the captain, while being overwhelmed by arrogance."
