The English Football Association announced the exclusion of two England national team players from Tuesday's match against their opponents, the Czech Republic, as part of the 2027 UEFA Nations League competition.
England faces the Czech Republic in the fourth round of the UEFA Nations League group stage, within Group 3.
According to a statement by the England national team, the duo Alex Scott and Ezri Konsa will not be available for tomorrow's match against the Czech Republic, having returned to their respective clubs, Bournemouth and Arsenal.
The national team clarified that the aforementioned duo needs to undergo further medical examinations with their clubs, which necessitated their exclusion from the training camp before tomorrow's match.
The English newspaper "Metro" reported that Konsa's injury represents a strong blow to Arsenal, led by manager Mikel Arteta, who is seeking to regain balance after falling to Brighton with three clean goals before the international break.
Konsa was a good option for Arsenal given the long-term injury suffered by defender William Saliba, but his recent physical problems may negatively affect the Premier League champions.
