Thomas Tuchel, the manager of the England national team, has warned the Three Lions ahead of their Nations League match against the Czech Republic.
The English team will host the Czech side tomorrow evening, Tuesday, as part of the fourth round of matches in the UEFA Nations League tournament.
Tuchel warns England before facing the Czech Republic
Speaking at a press conference before the match, as reported by Sky Sports, Tuchel said: "If performing similarly to our away game against Croatia means winning 6-0 or 8-0, then our expectations are wrong."
He continued: "We should not expect that specific result, but if the performance is similar in terms of humility, fighting spirit, and intensity both with and without the ball, that is what we want. That is the true standard."
He emphasized: "The Czechs caused significant problems for Spain, and we have noticed an improvement in their collective performance. Therefore, we should not raise our expectations too high regarding results or the number of chances created."
The manager of the Three Lions added: "I no longer have words to describe Harry Kane; everything he does is at the highest level, from goals to quality and leadership. He always leads the team, even in training sessions. Kane is a wonderful player."
The Three Lions currently sit second in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League standings with six points, three points behind leaders Spain, following their 7-0 victory over Croatia last Saturday evening.
