FIFA, the International Federation of Association Football, has issued its official decisions regarding sanctions for the 2026 World Cup final, which concluded earlier last July.
Spain defeated Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final, claiming the title for the second time in their history.

Following the final whistle, several Argentine players engaged in violent altercations with Spanish players, notably Leandro Paredes and Molina.
FIFA decided to impose severe sanctions on the Argentine Football Association due to the incidents during the World Cup final, as follows:
A fine of $321,000.
Playing the next two home matches with 50% stadium capacity.
Furthermore, FIFA's Disciplinary Committee mandated that $100,000 of the $321,000 fine be invested in an anti-discrimination initiative. Part of the sanction (one match and $100,000 of the fine) has been suspended subject to a probationary period.
Paredes suspended for 10 matches and fined $90,000.
Molina suspended for 7 matches and fined $90,000.
Almada suspended for one match and fined $30,000.
Scaloni's assistant, Roberto Ayala, suspended for 3 matches and fined $30,000.
Additionally, Gavi, a player for the Spanish national team, was suspended for one match and fined $30,000.
