FIFA revealed the latest amendments regarding the official ranking of national teams, following Spain's victory in the World Cup title today.
The Spanish national team won the World Cup title for the second time in its history and for the first time since 2010, after defeating Argentina 1-0 today, during the final match played between the two teams in the state of New Jersey in America.
The Spanish national team rose to the top of the FIFA ranking, with 1995.88 points, ahead of the Argentine national team, which dropped to second place with 1970.37 points, while the French national team came third with 1948.97 points.

The Egyptian national team maintained its 24th place globally with 1597.04 points, as the Pharaohs advanced five places at once, after qualifying for the round of 16 of the World Cup, before exiting against Argentina and losing narrowly 3-2.
The Moroccan national team also continued its presence in sixth place in the FIFA ranking, with 1803.99 points.
