Spanish press reports revealed that Barcelona decided to postpone the announcement of its second deal this season due to the travel of club president Juan Laporta and sports director Deco outside the country.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Barcelona postponed the official announcement of Karim Adeyemi's deal, after completing the agreement to include the German winger from Borussia Dortmund.

Karim Adeyemi had arrived in Catalonia and successfully passed the medical examinations and reached a complete agreement regarding the personal terms.

Barcelona will pay 22 million euros in addition to 7 million variables, and Dortmund retains the right to obtain 30% of the resale profits in case of his future transfer.

Juan Laporta and Deco are currently in the United States to attend the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina at MetLife Stadium, and they are scheduled to return on Tuesday, which means the official presentation will likely take place on Wednesday.

The two parties must give final approval to the official papers so that Adeyemi becomes able to use Barcelona's training facilities.

Adeyemi continues to maintain his physical fitness in the gym of the hotel where he is staying, and he will become Barcelona's second signing after Anthony Gordon, the former English winger of Newcastle.
