Media personality Ahmed Shobier revealed new developments regarding the crisis involving Brazilian Juan Biserra, a player for Al-Zamalek SC's first football team, amid his refusal to return to Cairo.
Shobier said, in a radio interview on "On Sport": "A person inside Al-Zamalek club informed me of a piece of information, though it is not confirmed, regarding Biserra."
He continued: "The information is that Biserra may return to Cairo and join Al-Zamalek within two or three days, and the person informed me that the club will sit with him to settle his future."
Shobier added, citing the source: "The management's desire is for Biserra to remain with Al-Zamalek and not leave, with the condition that we allow him to go on loan if a suitable offer arrives next January."
He concluded: "The disciplinary regulations will be applied to Biserra if he returns to the club, and he may be compensated by a person outside Al-Zamalek or promised a contract increase, and the player wants stability regarding the payment of his salary and no delay in paying his dues."
