Maher Gharib, head of the media department at Zamalek Club, revealed the latest developments in the crisis surrounding Brazilian player Juan Alfina Bezerra with the White Castle.

Bezerra has been absent from Zamalek since the beginning of the preparation period for the current season due to his desire to leave the team, and he has not arrived in Cairo to date.

Gharib stated during remarks on the "On" channel for the program "El Clasico": "Zamalek Club received an official offer to sell Bezerra. The first offer was three million dollars, while Zamalek requested six million dollars in cash plus a percentage from any future resale of the player."

He added: "Zamalek adhered to its demands and did not alter or withdraw its conditions. It is true that the offer increased slightly above three million, but it was not satisfactory for the club."

When asked whether the player would be sold if he returned, he clarified: "Each situation has its own context; there is no confirmation of anything at present. It is highly possible that the player returns, or that he remains until January, or completes the season, or that other developments occur."

He continued: "Bezerra will not receive his September salary from Zamalek Club if he does not return to the team."

He concluded: "Zamalek's handling of this file is proper, legal, and fully preserves the club's rights. As for the other party's reaction, I cannot dictate how the player should behave; ultimately, he is responsible for his actions and holds a valid contract with the club."
