Zamalek Club has determined its candidate Zamalek in the elections for the board of directors of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association, in preparation for the new electoral cycle.
The Egyptian Football Association had opened the door for receiving nomination letters for the clubs association elections, during the period from 18 to 20 July of this month, in preparation for forming the new board of directors.
Zamalek decided to push Khaled Refaat as a representative of the club in the board membership elections, in the new season.

In the past hours, 12 clubs supported the nomination of Ahmed Diab for the presidency of the Clubs Association in the next session, after the clubs of Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari, Smouha, Abu Qir Fertilizers, Al-Gouna, Wadi Degla, Enppi, Ceramica Cleopatra, Ghazl El-Mahalla, Al-Ahly Bank, Al-Qanah, Z, and Petrojet Asyut sent official letters to support him.
Ahmed Diab has become the closest to continuing in the presidency of the Clubs Association, in light of the support he enjoys from the majority of clubs, while awaiting the sending of official letters from Pyramids, Modern Sport, and Petrojet clubs before closing the nomination door.
