Zamalek has notified a number of players from its youth teams, born in 2007 and 2009, to join the first team's training session tomorrow, in preparation for the match against Zed in the Egypt Capital Cup tournament.
The Zamalek technical staff is expected to rely on these young players, alongside several first-team players, during the match against Zed at the start of the White Knights' campaign in the tournament.
The list of young players notified to attend tomorrow's training includes 16 players:
Khaled El-Sayed, Mohamed Osama, Moaz Mohamed, Ahmed Lamouloum, Ezzat Mohamed, Omar Yousry, Ziad Medhat, Yassin Mousa, Ahmed Hassan, Yassin Mostafa, Ahmed Ibrahim, Mohamed Wanees, Hossam Ashour Al-Taqi, Ahmed Safwat, Adham Haseeb, and Mohamed Farag.
Zamalek is preparing to play its first match in the Egypt Capital Cup against Zed, with a trend towards giving opportunities to a number of young talents and first-team players who do not regularly feature as starters.
In other news, Zamalek will play its next Egyptian Premier League match against Al Ahly in the Cairo Derby, where the team is preparing for this match with a completely different training camp.
A source had previously confirmed to Youm7 (Yalla Kora) that Zamalek would hold two training camps in the upcoming period, one for the match against Zed and another for the Cairo Derby.
Ibrahim Salah is scheduled to be the head coach of Zamalek in the upcoming match against Zed, as Mu'tamed Gamal has decided to give him the opportunity to lead the team in that game.
