Al-Ahly midfielder Ali Mahmoud joined the team's training session today, Monday, at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium on Gezira Island.

Al-Ahly is preparing to face Petroleum Aswan, scheduled for next Wednesday, in the first round of the Egypt Capital Cup.
The training session saw Ali Mahmoud participate regularly, despite the players having been given a break following the conclusion of the national team's recent camp. The player was keen to join the training and continue his program in preparation for the upcoming period.
The midfielder only participated for a few minutes wearing the Egyptian national team jersey against Angola in the first round of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Head coach Hussein Ammouta held a short lecture with the players before the start of training, after which the team performed a series of physical exercises, followed by specialized drills, and then an intense scrimmage involving the players.
Al-Ahly resumed training this evening, Sunday, at El-Tetsh Stadium at the club's headquarters on Gezira Island, following the rest day granted to the team yesterday after playing a friendly match against Misr Lel-Makkasa.
Al-Ahly won the friendly match against Misr Lel-Makkasa 3-0.
