Ibrahim participated in Egypt's national team reaching the round of 16 in the World Cup for the first time in its history.
Ibrahim said via MBC Egypt 2 channel: "I always ask people to trust the Egyptian national team, in the Africa Cup people were saying that we would travel to Morocco and return for dinner, but this talk gives us confidence and I tell people that we have big players like Mohamed Salah, Marmoush, Haitham and Hamza and therefore they should trust us".
He continued "Mohamed Salah is a leadership personality in every sense of the word, he always talks about us and asks us to play responsibly and without fear, and this talk makes a big difference with us because it comes from a player of Salah's value".
He continued "Imam Ashour is a very big player, yes his defense is tired but he is a big player and his capabilities are very high
He stressed "Hossam Hassan sometimes hits himself in training because he doesn't like losing".
He added "We were happy that we faced Australia in the round of 32, because if we had lost to Iran, we would have faced France which has 3 national teams".
