World Cup - Wahbi announces Sibari's absence from Morocco against France

Mohamed Wahbi, coach of the Moroccan national team, revealed the absence of Ismail Saibari against France.

Morocco plays against France this evening, Thursday, in the quarter-finals of the World Cup.

Moroccan coach Mohamed Wahbi said in statements to journalists: "All players are available to face France except Ismail Saibari, but I hope he will be ready for the rest of the tournament".

He added: "Our approach must be the same in every match. The level of daily discipline, analysis, and technical meetings remains the same whether we face France or Burundi".

He continued: "We must always maintain the same motivation, and stick to our preparation habits, so that we enter every match with the utmost calm and confidence".

Regarding the appointment of the referee for the Morocco-France match, Wahbi expressed his satisfaction, saying: "The referee of the France match has great experience, and this is important for us. We are calm and reassured in this regard, and in general, we must accept the referees' decisions".

The French national team defeated Paraguay with one goal to nil in the round of 16 of the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Morocco defeated Canada three-nil in the round of 16.

The winner of the France-Morocco match will face the qualifier from the Spain vs Belgium match in the semi-finals of the World Cup.
