The player is competing in the World Cup with the Belgian national team, where they will face America in the quarter-finals of the tournament.
According to the report, Trossard has only one season left on his contract with Arsenal, after signing an improved contract in August 2025, which granted him a significant salary increase, without including an extension of his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
The report clarified that the player's current contract ends in 2027 as previously determined, which prompted Arsenal to enter negotiations to sell him during the current period, amid Besiktas' desire to strengthen their squad with an experienced European attacking element.
The final details of the deal are expected to be finalized in the coming days, paving the way for the official announcement of Trossard's transfer to the Turkish league.
Trossard played 174 matches with Arsenal, scoring 36 goals and assisting 34 others.
He won the English Premier League and the Community Shield with Arsenal once each.
