Ghana coach Carlos Queiroz downplayed talk of his previous crisis with the Colombia national team, ahead of the two teams' meeting in the Round of 32 of the World Cup.

Queiroz is preparing to face a number of Colombian players he previously coached, most notably James Rodriguez and Luis Diaz.
Queiroz responded to reports of disagreements with some players, saying: "I don't see it as it is said."
He added in the press conference: "I really enjoyed working with the Colombian national team, and I loved that period."
He continued: "My tenure came under difficult circumstances during the COVID-19 pandemic."
He revealed an advantage for the Ghana team: "I know the Colombian players well, but we have to study the current team, not the past, and we know their capabilities well."
The Portuguese coach led the Colombian national team between 2019 and 2020, and succeeded in reaching the quarter-finals of the 2019 Copa America before being eliminated by Chile on penalties.
Queiroz left his position after negative results in the World Cup qualifiers, following heavy losses to Uruguay and Ecuador.
Queiroz continued: "Colombia is a strong team but not perfect, and we are also a good team."
Queiroz concluded his statements: "We have to shine, and there is no room for mistakes in knockout matches."
