Portuguese Carlos Queiroz, the technical director of the Ghana national team, announced his departure from coaching the Black Stars.
Queiroz led Ghana in the World Cup, before exiting the round of 32 against Colombia with a 0-1 defeat.
Queiroz took charge of national teams in the World Cup 5 times.
Queiroz had previously led national teams in the World Cup on 4 previous occasions in the 2010 edition with Portugal and in 2014, 2018 and 2022 with Iran.
Before taking over the coaching of Ghana in 2026.
Queiroz, aged 73, succeeded in leading Ghana to qualify from the group stage in the group that included Croatia, England and Panama.
