Thousands of Egyptian fans were present around Alamein Airport to welcome the players.
The players also headed from the airport to the residence hotel in Alamein in an open bus to receive the greetings of the crowds in the streets.
The delegation was received by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health, Jawhar Nabil, Minister of Youth and Sports, Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, Mohamed El-Zamlout, Governor of Marsa Matrouh, Mohamed Mujahid, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee in the House of Representatives, and Ahmed Diab, Chairman of the Egyptian Clubs Association.
