The French national team player said via BeIN Sports: "The injury is minor in the ankle and I am fine, and Mateta completing the match instead of me was a better decision".
Mbappe left the field substituted in the 77th minute and was replaced by Jean-Philippe Mateta in the match that ended with a 2-0 victory.
He added "We will not rest until we achieve the title, and the road is long and more difficult and we are ready to face any opponent".
