Belamri said via wtv channel: "The Egyptian national team deserves this great reception because the players brought joy to the simple Egyptian citizen".

He added, "The joy of the Egyptian fans with the national team makes the players feel that they were men at the World Cup, and fought for the Egyptian people and the flag of Egypt".

He continued, "We must not forget the high spirit instilled by Hossam Hassan in the players, especially Mohamed Salah and Marmoush, whom you felt were playing for Al Ahly or any Egyptian club and not in Europe".

He affirmed, "Salah preferred to return with the Egyptian national team in order to attend the fans' reception and did not say I will go to sign with a new club or I will take a vacation".

He pointed out, "To be a man and represent your country and your people in the best way, this is the result and you will receive recognition from everyone".

He explained, "The difference is great to enter your country with your head held high, and to enter while hiding from the fans".

He stressed, "In these moments, the Egyptian national team forgot everything that happened at the World Cup and forgot the loss to Argentina, and was received by the fans as the reception of the oppressed and the honorable, and for 120 million Egyptians to agree on you now is not easy at all because all the players were men".

He concluded his statements, "The Egyptian national team played with our feelings as Arabs with what it presented at the World Cup".
