Mustafa Abu Zahra, a member of the Football Association Board of Directors, announced the date of the return of the Egyptian national team delegation to Cairo.
The Egyptian national team bid farewell to the World Cup from the round of 16 after losing to Argentina 3-2.
Abu Zahra said in television statements to On Sport channel: "The team delegation will arrive in Cairo next Thursday."
The Football Association member also revealed the continuation of Hossam Hassan in his position as technical director of the national team.
Abu Zahra added, "We agreed with Hossam Hassan on his continuation in leading the national team, and we are building a big project for Egyptian football."
Hossam Hassan, the national team coach, had revealed that he is working without an official contract, after its end.
Abu Zahra continued, "Hani Abu Rida, the head of the federation, supported the players and the technical staff in the locker room and thanked them."
And he concluded, "We did not fall short and we did everything in our power."
After the Egyptian national team took the lead with two goals, the Tango turned the result in the final minutes and scored 3 goals.
So the Egyptian national team exited the World Cup with their heads held high after presenting a strong and distinguished performance throughout the tournament matches.
The Egyptian national team will leave America and return to Cairo after spending a wonderful period in the United States since the beginning of the World Cup.
Before the Egyptian national team, 38 teams exited the World Cup, and now only 9 teams remain in the tournament.
Egypt's national team goals were scored by Yasser Ibrahim and Mustafa Zico, while Argentina's three goals were scored by Cristian Romero, Lionel Messi, and Enzo Fernandez.
