Hani Abu Rida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, announced the approval of the Association's Board of Directors to renew the contract with Hossam Hassan, the technical director of the Egyptian national team.
This comes within the framework of the Board's keenness to complete the technical project of the national team and build on the historical achievements realized for Egyptian football during the past period.
The President of the Association explained that the Board of Directors will complete the procedures for approving and renewing the contract during its upcoming meeting, immediately upon the arrival of the national team delegation to the homeland.
The Egyptian national team delegation will arrive at Borg El Arab Airport in Alexandria aboard a private plane.
According to what FilGoal.com learned, the national team delegation will arrive on Friday morning and will receive an official presidential reception.
EgyptAir revealed that a private plane took off from Cairo to the city of Atlanta, USA, to transport the national team delegation to the country.

Hossam Hassan assumed the coaching of the Egyptian national team in February 2024 and began his journey with the Egyptian national team in March with a match against New Zealand.
Since then, the Brigadier has led the Egyptian national team in 35 matches, winning 19, drawing 10, and losing 5.
The Egyptian national team finished second in Group Seven with 5 points, behind the Belgian national team by a margin of points.
In the group stage, the Egyptian national team drew with Belgium and Iran, and won against New Zealand 3-1.
The Pharaohs achieved victory against Australia in the round of 32 on penalties, before losing to defending champions Argentina in the round of 16.
