Egypt's men's épée fencing team was crowned with the bronze medal in the World Senior Championships after defeating the Zionist entity.
The Pharaohs won the bronze medal after defeating Israel 39-38 with the golden touch.
The championship competitions are held in Hong Kong from July 22 to 30.
Egypt's team in the team competitions was represented by Mohamed El-Sayed – Youssef Shamel – Mahmoud Mohsen – Mahmoud El-Sayed.
Egypt's team had passed the round of 32 by defeating Portugal 44-33.
Then the Pharaohs defeated Spain in the round of 16 with a score of 36-35.
As for the quarter-finals, the Egyptian team succeeded in defeating its Russian counterpart 45-35.
After that, Egypt's team lost to Kazakhstan's team in the semi-finals with a score of 32-41, before being crowned with bronze at the expense of Israel.
